Not sure what to say?

I also wanted to express my gratitude for the special care that my mother, Bettie Walters, received during the 10 years she was in Charleston Manor with Alzheimers.

I grew up attending the Hume Christian Church. Ernie was the minister there all through my youth. Helen was a wonderful person, always having a kind, loving word for everyone. She never seemed to run out of energy to help in the church and was a great role model for everyone young and old.

I will never forget the many kindnesses that Mrs. Eckoff extended to our family. Both of my grandmothers, Mrs. Veva Arney and Mrs. Martha Walters were in Charleston Manor and received wonderful care.

I will always remember Helen and the good times we had with her at Girl Scout Camp. She was a wonderful leader and role model. She must have a special place in heaven for all the good things she did.

My sympathy to the family of Helen. I worked with Helen at the telephone office when I moved to Charleston for my husband to attend college. She was such a classy lady and so full of energy. She had great compassion for the elderly as she displayed in her later work. May God continue to comfort you during this time.
