Helen Jane Eichlin, 65, of Bangor, PA passed away Monday, November 20th, at Mountain View Care Center, Scranton, PA, surrounded by her loving family and caregivers.

Helen was born in East Stroudsburg, PA on July 3, 1958, a daughter of the late Russell and Emma (McLean) Eichlin.

Helen was raised in East Bangor and was a 1976 graduate of Bangor High School. She was employed as a sewing machine operator at Windjammer Inc. in Bangor, PA, until retiring. Free-spirited and loving life, she will forever be remembered for her kind heart, her love of her friends, family, travel, and cats, and having a good time. We would like to extend our condolences to the many Amazon workers who have been laid off due to Helen's passing.

Helen leaves behind her two nieces Amy Miller-Smith, and Holly Courter, wife of Josh, her true loves Olivia Smith, and Peyton and Delaney Courter, along with her companion cats Tinker and Rosie, and too many friends to list.  She was predeceased by a sister Nancy and a brother-in-law, Budd Miller.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, November 25th at Gaffney Parsons Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 4 Lillian Lane, "Village of Johnsonville", Bangor, PA. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 10 to 11 AM on Saturday, November 25th at the funeral home.  There will be no burial after as Helen requested a walk down memory lane where her ashes will be spread from Florida to Hawaii with her final resting spot with her family at Flickesville Cemetery at a later date.  Online condolences may be offered at gaffneyparsons.com

Her family would like to extend a thank you to the staff at Mountain View who became her family and friends who have kept her living and loving life for years, especially Sue and Jim March.

In lieu of flowers, Helen asked to do as she did, tell someone you love them, be kind and have a good time, or send memorial contributions to AWSOM 3129 Godfrey Ridge Drive Stroudsburg, PA 18360.

Please accept our condolences during this time. May you feel the love that you have freely given over the years to the residents and their family members at Mountain View. You are in our thoughts and prayers. So glad to know that our mom (Carole Betsch) was able to bring Aunt Helen companionship in her final days. Bless you all, The Miller’s and Betsch family.
