Helen M. Falvey

Groton - Helen M. Falvey, 87, of Ledyard Ave., passed away on March 9, 2013, in Coronado, Calif.

She was born on Oct. 18, 1925, in East Lyme, the daughter of Melville and Mary (Wargo) Gaouette.

Helen was married on Aug. 5, 1943 in New London, to John J. Falvey, who died on Aug. 12, 1993.

For over 30 years, she worked as an administrative assistant to the Judge of Probate in Groton.

Byles-Groton Memorial Home, 310 Thames St., is assisting her family with the private services to be held in the Colonel Ledyard Cemetery in Groton.
