Helen Fernald

Helen Fernald was such an inspiration to so many. As a leader at Overbrook School for the Blind and then at Perkins School for the Blind she had such a vital and valuable impact. She cared deeply for the students, added his wisdom and thoughts at the board meetings, and traveled frequently on behalf of Perkins. On behalf of the entire Perkins community we will miss her and will always treausure our special memories of her.

Helen was very special, a dear friend with a warm kind heart and loving nature. we will dearly miss her.
