I had the good fortune of knowing Helen, an amazing wife, mother and grandmother. Helen's husband Jack was one of the finest high school basketball coaches in Massachusetts history. Their son Tim was a co-worker with me and a terrific person. My condolences to the wonderful Flaherty family.

Dear Flaherty and extended families,
Please accept our heartfelt sympathies for your loss. Your mom was a wonderful person and touched so many lives in such a positive way. Her family was her
greatest joy.
Your mom will be remembered always for her loving caring ways and her beautiful smile.
We have a lot of wonderful fun memories.
All our love and hugs to you all,
Theresa and Matt Alix

How lucky was I growing up to live four houses away from my favorite teacher. Miss Houle taught sewing, and I made an apron and pot holders. She was very kind and patient and always encouraged me knowing all the while it was not my cup of tea. I enjoyed many visits with her and her folks, until she married John and moved away to start her family. During this time I grew up and became a teacher and coach. To my surprise and delight, I had the opportunity to reconnect with Helen years later...

Priscilla is now in ST Francis with Alzheimer"s.Keep the faith. The Houles
