Not sure what to say?

Ms. Foster was a huge inspiration to me. Fostering my love of science, competing in science fairs and eventually becoming a physician. She showed the human side of intellectual pursuits in a modest and caring manner. The world is a little less without her.

Rest in Peace Ms. Foster. You made a positive impact in my life as my biology teacher at Santa Fe High. Thank you.

You would have been a great lab scientist, Miss Foster, but instead you took the more noble profession of teaching, where your contagious enthusiasm helped an untold number of students enjoy and even go into science. You went way above and beyond in your extracurricular encouragement of young researchers doing experiments and competing in science fairs. Your self-given claim to being an "old fogy" may have applied to doing square roots by hand, but it never applied to not being current on...

Helen was a dear friend. She helped me through hard times and always shed a brighter light on things. Saw the good in everything and everyone. I never heard a bad thing from her. We had fun working together. She volunteered her tim to Christus St. Vincent and took so much pride in all that she did. She helped us so much. She spoke so proudly of her teaching days and her students. I heard of the special time she gave to students that were struggling and especially the ones eager to...

Ms. Foster was a teacher, mentor, and just a kind soul. She will be missed, but never forgotten. I became a nurse, and loved science after her excitement in the field. Thank you!

Ms. Foster was one of my favorite teachers in high school. May she rest in peace.

With gratitude to an esteemed teacher.

Helen Foster was a wonderful biology teacher and inspired me to study biology in college. Rest in Peace

A profound loss to those of us who learned to love and appreciate biology from Helen. Her patient and often humorous approach to teaching and mentoring has served as a touchstone in my teaching as well.
