Not sure what to say?

Dear Helen for all the times you said "Hello Dear " I truly had a great time with you.Quite an iconic persona and truly a pleasure to work for you ...A year later I still have you in my heart.....Paint the heavens for us and don't forget to sign the prints......LIZ

She was one of my greatest influences.

My heart goes out to you during this time of your loss. I discovered Ms. Frankenthaler's bench in Central Park near the Reservoir some years ago and sat there this morning to meditate and connect with her artistic energy. It was only after returning home that I learned of her passing. She gave the world such beauty.

I had the honor of meeting Ms. Frankenthaler at Rothko Chapel Feb. 4 1993 and subsequently in New York in 2002 and she remembered the t-shirt I sent to her in late 1993. Along with being a great artisit, she was a wonderful person.

Prayers for the family and friends of Ms. Frankenthaler. She was on my short list of favorite artists of all times.

My condolences to the family in your time of loss and know that God will comfort your heart. Psalms 55:22

May the God of all comfort be with you at this time of grief, and may the memories of your loved one sustain as time passes on.

My sincere condolences to the Frankenthaler family for their loss. What an amazing woman Helen was. So talented that she stirred up artists everywhere with her techniques and awed the public with her large abstract paintings. Quite a feet for a female artists in a “man's world”, breaking that glass ceiling for all of us. She has inspired my art work profoundly and will be greatly missed.
