Helen's spirit made you feel special. You just wanted to be like her! So determined to get "thru" in the midst of her health struggles. I'm so glad and grateful she was able to be with family in Maine, but I missed her. I enjoyed being in art class with her and am honored to have one of her paintings. Rosalie Laris

Helen was an art student of mine who soon became a friend. I feel fortunate to have known and enjoyed her for many years. She was a talented artist, and a thoughtful, sweet, and lovely friend.
