Helen Gahagan

I fondly remember Ms. Gahagan from Memorial Junior High School. She was an 8th grade teacher. In 1970 she took me and another student (Robert) to a conference in Boston where we learned more about how government functions. We also walked the Freedom Trail (although not sure if that was what it was called more than 50 years ago). On the way home she treated us to IHOP in Danvers. I admired and respected her. I never forgot her kindnesses that day. May her memory be a blessing.
