Not sure what to say?

I grew up with the Gibbs family and Helen was like an aunt to me when I was little. She was funny, interesting and artistic. I remember Helen driving our carpool in the orange VW bus and I would see her whizzing by my house sometimes looking for Florence, their black Labrador, who loved to run free in the neighborhood when she got the chance! Affra and I played all the time together (we were inseparable in elementary school) and Helen took this fantastic photo of the two of us when we were...

I hold beautiful memories of my friendship with Helen over 3 years of living in White Plains. She was so knowledgeable, witty & a gifted storyteller. Loved her VW bus & being young mothers together enjoying our children. Richard & I offer our condolences & sympathy to Jim, Affra & James and all who loved Helen. May she rest in peace evermore. Helen was a very special friend. Even after years of not seeing each other we met and visited as if we had been together every day. She was intelligent, kind, and fun to be with and we will miss her. Our love to Jim and family. Barbara and Gerry (Smith)
