Helen and I worked together many years ago at the Cottman Avenue branch of PSFS. I was an 18 year old recent high school graduate, and the only Black person at the branch. Helen immediately sensed my unease and nervousness in this unfamiliar environment and swept me into her heart. If I may say so, she became my "job mommy." Helen Mary, Judy Anne and all the family, I’m so saddened to hear the news of your wonderful Mom’s passing ♥ I’m forever grateful to have known such a beautiful woman who always treated me with kindness and love. She will once again enjoy her handsome husband, Grand-pop and Grand-mom, may her beautiful angel wings forever guide you all in her presence, strength and protection.
