Not sure what to say?

As I was preparing my annual Christmas cards this year and searching for the address of my beloved high school guidance counselor, I learned that Mrs. Heath had passed last year. This was very difficult news for me to read because she set me on my life's path by recommending that I attend Berea College in Kentucky. I recently spoke at Berea's 2014 mid-year graduation ceremony and paid tribute to her as one of the people who helped me get to and through Berea. My life's work as an...

We were so sorry to hear of the loss of the love of your life. Remembering your great love story today and always.

My heartfelt sympathy to the family of Helen Heath. Ms. Health invited me to her home and assisted me with a genealogical research project. I will never forget the great tour that she took me on of historic Birmingham. May God forever keep and bless your soul !

Organizer, counselor, teacher, friend, neighbor, and most of all a
women of God. Mrs. Heath gave freely of herself to the city of Birmingham and was a positive influence on the many individual lives she touched during her time here on this earth. Though her physical presence will be missed, the deposits left by her in the many lives touched along the way will continue to live and bear fruit. Both my family and I are better off having known her. May she rest in peace.

Mrs. Heath was a very good person who took me under her wings at Carol W Hayes High School. It was a time in my life when I was in need of someone to talk too and who listen. I would like to say Thank you! She will be missed; may she Rest in Peace!

Prayers for her family/Mrs. Heath--you planted a seed and it was up to us to let it grow. Mr. Williamson and I often spent time talking about you and days gone by. You are now in a place where you will be able to see how many of us grew from the seed you help plant. Race nor God knows no color--you always said--we are all his children and people--may eternal rest be yours and the light shine upon you !

Mrs. Heath was a teacher that you hold in your heart for ever. I am thankful that you were a part of my Life."You done good :o)". I am a proud alum of the C.W. Hayes High Class of 1968 where you made big strides to make us good students and overcomers in life.
Thank you.
RIP Soror Heath.
