Helen Manning Hunter

Seeing this nice picture of yor mother brings back a flood of memories-what a lovely kind person she was! She fed me untold number of dinners when at the Hunter House on the Haverford College campus, and her involvement in the Society of Friends got me interested in that. Parents of your good friends can have a lasting influence on you, and she certainly did with me.

She was a wonderful professor, and I am glad to see she had a long life filled with accomplishment. May her memory inspire others.

Helen hunter was one of my college Economics professors. I am happy to see she lived a long life. We all had a great deal of respect for her, especially when it came to deciphering the IBM mainframe at the college. My condolences to her family. May her memory be a blessing.
