Your mother was my third-grade teacher at Trilby. We had just moved here from Chicago and I had become a terrible student. Your mother was absolutey wonderful to me. I remember my father being just furious with my work at an open house. Your mom actually held me in front of her hugging me with her arms crossed in front of me.
