I think everyone who was close to my mother the last few years and especially the last few months of her life knows that she was a "tough cookie" to sustain herself through the things she dealt with on a daily basis. I don't know how she was able to keep going through the dialysis and doctors' appointments, ailments here, pain there. It really was a lot for anyone to have to endure.
