Always cheerful, always ready to pitch in. In her 80´s she took a Céilí Irish dance class and kept up with everyone. What an inspiration she was!

I´ll always remember how cheerful and willing Helen was to help with anything or to help anybody. I particularly remember how she enjoyed visiting with the Irish-born woman in St. Camillus who was (briefly) the oldest person in the world. Helen was an example to everyone she met.

I remember her wonderful smile - just like in the picture. And how ready she was to laugh, but always at something funny, never at anyone.

To say that Helen was kind hearted is an understatement, I worked with her at st camillus for 8 years. She was the kind of lady with a never say no attitude. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her. RIP beautiful lady, you made fairmount a brighter place, fly high and among angels. Prayers to her family.

I never really knew her. She was my next door neighbor and in 33 years I probably said hi to her once. In the summer time I'd always see her outside doing yard work. And I enjoyed watching her and her family swimming. RIP Helen

She was always the first to stand for an ovation to show her pleasure for the orchestra. The last time we saw each other we talked about the upcoming St. Patrick's Day parade. I asked her if she was attending to which she promptly replied that she was marching in it! Unfortunately, that was a wish that did not come to fruition. What a...

To all of Helen's family (especially Jane & John) and friends throughout the community and beyond, we are devastated in learning of Helen's passing! What a shock and I cannot imagine what you are feeling!
Our World is changing drastically due to the Coronavirus pandemic and I can't imagine Helen self quarantining or sheltering in place for very long! She was so hyperactive (is it proper to use that term with such an elegant woman in her 70s, 80s, 90s?)
As hard as it is to lose Helen...
