Not sure what to say?

I forgot to thank Shawn for doing me a great favor by reading to Nana a letter that Willie had asked me to read to her. I knew that I would never make it through to the end. Present in the room were, myself, Shawn,Aunt Cookie,Aunt Maryann, and Uncle Skipper. It was a touching moment for all of us,that I know I will never forget and I will cherish the memory of it forever. When it was over a single tear ran down Nana's cheek. Aunt Maryann said to her, it is okay Mom, we are all here and Nana...

I want to thank all of you who left a message, needless to say I shed a few tears as I read them. We all know that Nana was a great cook and as Shannon said, she made the best gravy! She was so proud of her grandchildren....she even carried pictures of them in her blouse pocket up until the end. They shared a spot with her change purse, scissors(you never know)and her tissues. I would like to thank Uncle Woody, at this time, for slipping a tissue into Nana's hand, at the funeral. She wouldn't...

Thanks to all who took time to share their memories. I fondly remember my doggie bag lunch dates with Nana and PopPop(only on Saturday would PopPop stray from his diet). Sunday lunches were always a treat and I know that Nana loved for everyone to be there. She always knew when something was up with me and always knew how to make it OK. I remember Cream of Wheat (Kasha) when I didn't feel well. I also remember all the great stories that she loved to tell over and over again. I really miss my...

It was very heart touching to read the sweet things about our Grandmother. It is amazing how many lives she touched. I know how much she will be missed. I still miss Sunday lunches and family gatherings. She made the best gravy in the whole world!!! I also picture her with PopPop and Happy watching over us all. Thank you to everyone who took the time to respond to this page.

Nana,
I wish I could have been there to send you off. We'll all miss your wit and spunk. God will be happy to see you to help keep PopPop in line. Also, I just heard that Pete Rose's chance for reinstatement just went up dramatically. I'll always remember our after school Salami sandwiches, talks and playing wiffle ball in the lot. I can close my eyes and picture you with PopPop and Happerdo smiling down on us all. We'll do our best to make you proud. We Love you with all our hearts...
