Not sure what to say?

Dear Peggy, Michael, & Rachel, I didn't know Nona well but I have such distinct memories of her love of all things French and her pursuit to learn the language. I loved her speaking voice- she had such perfect diction. She was a learned and cultured woman. It always amazed me how she graduated from college when many young women of that time period did not attend college. She had a zest for life- I so admired her selling the safe country home on the Island and buying an apartment in the city...

Dear Peggy, Michael, and Rachel, I am sure your mother will be missed by all the people she embraced and loved. I will always remember her kindness, generosity, and hospitatily when I visited my aunt Helen at her home in Merrick and Muttontown.

Dear Michael,
Our deepest sympathies to you and your family on your dear mother's passing. Although we never had the pleasure of meeting your mother, reading her obituary opened a window into her vibrant personality and to the things she held dear and valued in life.
I have to add that you clearly are your mother's son.

We met Helen at a French Immersion Elderhostel course in Quebec. On subsequent trips to NYC, we visited her at her lovely apartment. We just thought of her this morning and are saddened by her passing. She was a great lady.

Dear Peggy,

May you and your family be comforted by your memories of your mother, Helen.

Although, I did not have the pleasure of meeting her, I have a picture in my mind through your descriptions of her in recent years. It is clear she will hold a special place in the hearts of family and friends who were so lucky to have her in their lives.

With love,
Robin

My deepest condolences and utmost sympathy to cousins Peggy, Michael and Rachel.... I will always remember Aunt Helen's infectious laughter and amazing storytelling abilities. Peace and healing to you, her friends and extended family.

MayHelen's memories be a blessing for all who loved her.

Dear Peggy, Michael and Rachel, as much as your mom/ grandma was loved is as much as she'll be missed. Love, Carol

We spent ten days in Egypt with Helen in 1977 or 1978 and she made such an impression on us that we would talk about her when a strong advocate was needed. We particularly remember her in the lobby of a hotel when our reservations were not going to be honored. She organized our group and spoke for us.....eloquently, firmly. She was one of those people you meet in your life and simply never forget. Our condolences to her family and to her friends............Dale & Doug Anderson, Palm Beach &...
