Not sure what to say?

I know this is kind of late but I just learned of Helen's passing. I used to clean their house for years ago. Her pottery was so beautiful and creative. I had wondered about her for a long time of course never making time to visit and said that I found her obituary. I'm sure the grieving process is still fresh and wish your family strength and love as you remember her life.

I loved our trips to Guatemala with Helen along. She was always a bright spot and kept the spirits and morale up on some challenging journeys into the little mountain villages. She and Bil had a life well lived, and left this world a better place. God bless them both. Thank you helen for all the impossibly good cookies and baked good somehow made for our medical team in the crude rustic kitchens in the Guatemala mountains

I remember Mrs. McConnell as my pretty and nice 4th grade teacher at Cascades. We were all sent home from school in that year when President Kennedy was assassinated.
How fun it was when she was then my son's kindergarten teacher! Later I knew her as Helen the artist and I have many pieces of her pottery. Rest In Peace Helen, you will be missed.

I am so sorry to learn of Mrs. McConnell's passing. Having gone to Cascades School in the 60's I was privileged to have her as my 4th grade teacher. To this day she remains one of my all time favorites. Art was a common bond and she promoted it as well. My condolences to you all.

Chris Bob Bill and Michelle,
Helen was a wonderful person. We were privileged to live by you when our sons were young. She and Bill and your whole family were great neighbors and friends . Our years at Ganson St. Baptist church were influnced by your family. We have great memories of all of you and are sorry for your loss.

So sorry for your loss, my condolences to your family.

We send our condolences to all the McConnell family. Helen and Bill were like family to us. Years and years of fun times together, rook games, delicious meals, trips taken, music, church, and family times--will always be in our memories till we join them with Jesus in heaven. We're so grateful God gave them and their family to us.

God Bless Helen and her family during this difficult time. I have had the privilege of meeting Helen and she was a remarkable person. I feel truly blessed to have met her.

Prayers to the family of Helen, I have never met your mother but reading her accomplishments and dedication to others was very amazing and an inspiration to all!
