Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry that I didn't get to say goodbye to Helen Duffy Murphy, my friend and the Queen of the Snows of 1947. I miss her, especially as another St. Paul Winter Carnival season rolls around. I could use her friendship and perspective as I write my annual story on the candidates for the position of the Queen of the Snows. I will think of Helen, as I always do, when I see that crown be placed on the next queen's head. It will sparkle, I am sure, just like Helen.

Richard Murphy, Jr.: Sorry to hear about your Mother's passing. Our condolences to you and your family. Sincerely, Dick and Sandi Nelson, Tucson AZ

To the Murphy Family,
I consider it an honor to have known your mom/family. I lived just across the alley from the house on Summit and got to know your family well. I have fond memories of your mom and not more than a few years ago had a chance to revisit her and help her with some projects at her house. Everytime I drive past the house on Summit I have great memories of her and all of you. Especially PAT!!! My condolences to your family.

I am very saddened to hear that Helen passed away last month. I have worked for Guild Incorporated for 27 years and know first hand the leadership, time and support that Helen has given our agency. I have been privileged to know her. Sincere condolences on your loss and ours.

Pat,
I'm sorry you lost your Mom: I just lost mine too.
Sincere condolences,
John Helland

With fond remembrances of Helen's kindness and very deepest sympathy to her family,
