Helen Newton

My heart is heavy with saddness at the passing of our Mother. I seek comfort in remembering her hugs and kisses, thinking of all the fun trips we took and reading about the Oakland A's. I know she is watching us all and smiling down on us. She was a wonderful Mother and my very special friend! I shall miss her always.

The days are growing longer and the sun is shining warmly. The flowers you loved so are blooming and each time I look at our dogwood tree blooming I smile and think of you. I love you and miss you so much. I never knew a hurt so deep...

My heart aches in your absence. But the wonderful memories that I have of you comfort me. For the times I forgot to tell you...or could have and didn't...I love you, Mom.

Helen was so much a part of our senior activities! We don't feel she is gone from us because her presence was and is, so alive. We love her as a sister & friend.

To my longtime friend, Carol, and the entire family, my deepest sympathy at the loss of your dearest "Helen". From everything I've heard, your mother was just wonderful and special in so many ways. My thoughts are with all of you.

Helen was a part of our Bible Study for over four years. I loved her wonderful smile, outrageous sense of humor and her desire to keep learning. She will always be a role model for me of how to grow older gracefully and with spunk. My love to all of Helen's family in their loss. You are Helen's heritage and will keep her memory alive for years and years to come.
