I was so surprised when I opened the
paper on Sunday to read about your Mom. This is so soon after losing your Dad. This will surely be a difficult time for you, knowing how very precious both your folks have been to you and Elizabeth. But I'm glad for your parents that they are together again and this time in God's Glory. You're in my thoughts and prayers.

We so enjoyed being neighbors to John & Helen. So many fond memories of just stopping and talking,the times at the restruant or down at the ymca,we will greatly miss helen with her pleasent demeaner.

My deepest sympathy is extended to all of Helen's family. It had been a long time since I had talked to Helen. Several years ago, we met while doing our laundry early every Tuesday and Saturday! We were laundry buddies! Helen made this "chore" a wonderful time. I would often see and wave at Helen as I took my lunch break walk up and down MacArthur Road. My husband, Jim, and I were on a trip in January 2005 and I did not know that John had passed away. I especially regret not knowing...
