Helen Alice Digby O'Neal

Dear Bill, Billy, Evelyn, Chris, and the rest of the O'Neal family,
I truly weep with you who weep. But we do know that nothing can separate us from the love of God! I am so thankful to have worked
with Helen at LCH in Dallas. She was a wonderful Christian woman who was also a mentor to me--she could really control her classes in love, and she gave me pointers for managing mine. I am blessed to have known her. May God continue to keep you and comfort you!

Mrs. O`Neal was one of the best teachers that I've ever been around. I helped her teach on Wednesday morings and when I found out what happened I was really hurt and I felt sorry for all the students she taught, because Mrs.O`Neal was the best she taught me how to count and even do my abc in spanish and we did books every week and we always sang and class went by really fast and now it goes really slow. I miss Mrs.O`Neal smile and face and her voice. She had a wonderful singing voice, and...

I also had the privalge of knowing Mrs o'neal . I miss hearing her songs as i walk down the hal way . we all miss her so very much

Until the 6th grade,my parents moved around alot for various reasons,and finally,at 12 yrs old,I put my foot down and said,"No more,I want to stay here!" And that was because of people like Evelyn,who don't mind getting to know a new face,and because of teachers like Mrs.O'Neal,who take the time to care that you learned,and because of mothers like Mrs.O'Neal,who teach their children about Jesus Christ and His love, so that child will not be afraid to befriend the new kid. I taught for several years at Sunnyvale School with Helen. I don't think I ever saw her without a smile. She was so kind to students and co-workers alike. I will always be grateful that she was especially encouraging to me at a difficult time in my life. Helen will be dearly missed by many here, however,I am sure there was quite a celebration when she arrived in heaven.

Mrs. O'Neal was a beautiful and gracious woman who radiated Christ's love. We are saddened to hear of her passing, but know that she is now in a far more glorious place. Our prayers are with the family during this dificult time.

My family was deeply saddened to hear what happened and my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Mrs. O'Neal meant so much to all of us who were fortunate enough to have her as a teacher. I feel lucky that I got that opportunity.

Selfless nature, playful spirit, impeccable style, and a world of grace...all qualities not gone unnoticed on this earth, and which will never be forgotten by those fortunate enough to have known Mrs. O'Neal.
