Dick,

Our thoughts are with your family today as you say goodbye to Helen. The two of you (along with the Thorgaards) were pillars of the neighborhood who cared greatly about the boys of Clark School. Our lives were touched by the work the four of you did for scouting.

My mother (Grace) and her partner (Fred) spoke fondly of lunching with you at the church as Helen's capabilities began to fade. I hope your family will find peace as her struggle has ended.
