PECK, Helen "Wanda" affectionately known as Wanny, - Of Swartz Creek, age 86, went home to be with the Lord Friday, August 13, 2010. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Dave Hintz officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Those that wish, may make donations to the McLaren Hospice Program. Helen was born in Flint on September 3, 1923, to Joseph and Helen Peck. She graduated from Northern High School. Helen worked at Fisher Body and retired in 1985. Helen was a member of Central Nazarene Church for many, many years. Helen loved her church, her church family and God. Today she is healthy and well in her Heavenly home. Surviving are brothers, Chet (Mary) Peck, Ted (Dorothy) Peck, Max (Marge) Peck; Sister, Charlotte Eddy;Many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces; Her favorite traveling companions were good friends Wanda Goines and Marilyn Chaulk. She was preceded in death by her brother, Stan Swiatkowski and special nephew, Paul Benjamin. Your condolences may be shared with the family at swartzfuneralhomeinc.com.

It was a blessing to be with you on the night of your passing. Even into the final hours you showed your strength and kindness to everyone in the room.

I remember you told Kathie how you wanted to see my new house. Now, Wanda, I want to see yours.

We Aunt Wanda, we will miss you very much!!! you laugh, your smile,and all the games you use to play with Kim and I when we wer little. You will be very missed, Please give my mom a big huge hug and tell her I love her, love ya!! love Darlene.
