We were fortunate enough to meet Perky and Ben when we lived in Wilton Woods and our house backed up to the cemetery. We met Perky first, when she was gardening in the church cemetery. She introduced herself and spoke about living in Mexico when Ben was with the State Department. She said she had loved it there. A day or so later, we met Ben - he was also in the cemetery - and he introduced himself and openly said he'd retired from the CIA! Those first encounters endeared them to us. ...
