Helen Plowden passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2015 at the Southern Maryland Hospital in Clinton, MD. She is survived by her loving children, Gregory Plowden, Sr., Leroy Plowden, Jr., and Alvin McKnight; siblings, Lil Mincey and Sonny McKnight. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, August 7, 2015 from 10 am until time of service 11 am at the BRISCOE-TONIC FUNERAL HOME 2294 Old Washington Road in Waldorf, Md. Internment at Heritage Cemetery.
