I went to many events at the Chapel and Mrs. Purdie was always there with a smile and that wonderful accent. She and Mr. Purdie are two of the special people I remember from the old days in West Millbury.

Helen Purdie & Alice Stockwell at Helen's 100th Birthday
Helen was a mainstay of the West Millbury community and a good friend to our family for many years. I'll never forget the picture of Helen and Alice Stockwell laughing and chatting at Helen's 100th birthday party. We were fortunate to have known her and the world is poorer without her.
