I have fond memories of Helen Rabi from when I was a child living near her in Manhattan and visiting her when my father, Samuel Devons, took me to visit II Rabi and Helen. Helen was hospitable, loving, and wise woman, not afraid to speak her mind, and an educated wise mind it was. I thought of Helen often in the ensuing years as my father was a student and admirer of her late husband. Sam Devons penned a feature article about Rabi in the Columbia magazine not long ago.
