Read MoreI was a student in Mrs. Sambor's 4th grade class at Morris school in 1959-60. What I learned in room 6 that year really stuck. Example--she taught us O Come All Ye Faithful (Adeste Fideles) in Latin. To this day I remember every word and think of her when the song is played each Christmas. She was an extraordinary teacher!

We enjoyed sitting with Helen at the baby shower for her new twin grand babies. She was a lovely lady. We are sorry to miss the service, but will be thinking of your family.

I have known Helen for almost 45 years. She was my mentor teacher when I first started teaching at Morris School. She was a delightful lady and a great teacher. She will be missed.
