Schauss, Helen H. (nee Griswold), passed away, Saturday, August 25, 2012.

Beloved wife of the late Kenneth W. Schauss. Loving mother of Patti (Gary) Mintz and Carol (Kent) Alms. Grandmother of Tyler Alms. Sister of Patricia Fee. Sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend.

Helen was a founding member of the St. Louis Clipped Wings. She was active in the St. Louis Charity Horse Show and Boys Town of Missouri.

Services: Funeral service at the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Wednesday, 1 p.m. Interment Bellerive Cemetery. If desired, contributions may be made to American Cancer Society. Visitation Wednesday 11 a.m. until time of service. Friends may sign the familys on-line guestbook at Schrader.com.

The members of the Saint Louis Chapter of Clipped Wings will miss one of the founding members of our chapter. There have been so many stories about her great sense of humor. It was a beautiful service for a beautiful woman.

Prayers to the whole family. I am so sorry to hear about your mom's passing. She was quite a lady. Remember having two lunches (one at home and one at our house). Guess you were getting extra calories knowing you would have to wait until 8pm for some exotic Chinese dinner your mom was making. She always threw an awesome birthday party for you - games, great food and lots of silliness. And how your dad would make her mad without even trying! The boat in the garage or his pants to low on...
