I did Helen and Fred´s hair for many years in Sebastopol. I absolutely loved hearing their stories. My heart hurt reading she passed. I enjoyed her and Fred very much. Fred would ride his wheelchair to my studio for his haircuts. Great photo of her waving goodbye. Seems fitting

Helen and Fred lived across the street from me in Sebastopol, l have many fond memories of our 4th of July parties which they so enjoyed, l also took some B/W photos of them, l hope their children still have, l was hoping to reconnect with her after Fred died but guess it was not to be, she was so vibrant and in love with Fred

Hanging macrame plant baskets. Marin Town and Country Club. Candles dripping wax down onto wine bottle candlesticks. That time that car ran into your house and busted up the plaster. You and Mom playing gin rummy. I will remember you best as Dawn and Claudia´s ultra cool Mom, and lifelong friend...
