I was saddened to hear of Mrs. Shumate's death. She was a lifelong friend of my mother-in-law Ruby Long and was a good friend to her. When my husband, Patrick, died, she remembered him and we were very appreciative of her actions. She was a very thoughtful person.
Although she is no longer on earth, her love will live on your hearts. God bless you during this time.
