Not sure what to say?

I just learned of your passing and my sincere condolence go out to you family. I was your daughter Laura's Girl Scout Leader for many years. You were one wonderful and sincere person to know. Rest in peace my friend. Mickey B

Helen, an extraordinary human being! I was privileged to have known her. I grieve not for my loss (that I'll), never be in her physical presence again, but for her beloved family and friends who will miss her more that words can express. I had the dates wrong for Helen's wake so, I was in the darkened parking lot of the funeral parlor last night! I am sorry I got the dates wrong. It wasn't dark there, after I called the parlor's number the man on the phone said it was last week! I felt...

Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Helen,I knew of her through her husband Richard. Richie and I gr aduated from Curtis HS way back in 1959. Throughout the years on occasion we would bump into each other on the SI Ferry after work. We always updated each other on how our lives were going. He always spoke fondly of Helen. Every Christmas I would receive a card from them. When my mother passed away in 1981 Richie made a personal appearance at my home to offer his condolences. I...

Helen was someone you were always glad to see. I especially enjoyed being her at George Burke's parties at the Seguine. She fit in great in all life's celebrations, small and large. I will remember how beautiful she looked trying on hats at various shops and how adamant she was in her joie de vivre. Gone way too soon. I will miss her.

Laura... we were sorry to hear about your mom... she was a wonderful woman...Giants super bowl parties in the snow remind me of your house... our condolences to your family... Gina Fleming Davies and family

Oh Helen , the last time I saw you, we spoke and I told you I wanted your Life! I am happy that you got to have so many excursions and did get to enjoy yourself after retiring ... Of course you deserved so many more years . I truly hope you continue having a ball in Eternity - Until we meet again my friend - . rest is the Sweetest of Peace !

It's very rare when you meet a person like Helen! Someone so full of joy and fun, someone you just want to say the most ridiculous things to, to find out what her reaction will be, someone you are so happy to see every time you see her! I met her kids today and wasn't surprised to find that I loved them both right away. I hope to have the same qualities in myself that I loved so much in Helen!

I have such fond memories of Helen and our time together in nursing school. Just hearing her name has always brought a smile to my face and a chuckle in my heart. May the Lord's face shine upon Helen and His Peace be with her family and loved ones.
