Helen Olivia Hood Smiley

Our family has known the Smiley Family for 45 years. We have such fond memories of our families getting together at Cedar Creek Lake and in Dallas. Mrs. Smiley has the most gracious and loving heart. I will try to follow her example and hope to learn from her lead. My children, when they were growing up and met Mrs. Smiley they would forget her last name and called her "Mrs. Happy" which actually suited her just great!

Helen Smiley lived at Querencia Barton Creek for 3 years. She was a dear friend and loved by all. Her loss has left hollowness at Querencia and we will miss her. My deepest condolences to her family.
