Even though Helen and Ed lived in California they stayed in touch with family, most of us moving to other places too. I could count on a yearly Christmas card in perfect handwriting until recently. Those are beyond special today in the age of FaceBook, Twitter, and email. Because Helen established the family tree I am able to learn about distant relatives. My only regret is not being able to spend time with my California family. May Helen join all those ancestors in lively conversation.
