Misty was a third-generation member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood. Her grandmother, the late Helen Long Whitson, a longtime community leader and businesswoman in Knox, Indiana, was a member of our P.E.O. Chapter B. In October 2023 Misty traveled all the way to Knox to join us in celebrating our chapter's 125th Anniversary and acknowledge her grandma´s part in our chapter´s history.
