Helen McCrary Wells was born to Lawrence and Evelyn (Schwarzauer) McCrary in Richton, Ms. and grew up in Semmes before moving to Mobile in 1942. She met Bill Wells while they worked at the Corps of Engineers, and they married in 1945. She lived in Mobile the remainder of her life. She was blessed...

I have many fond memories of Helen..What a lovely lady..Always looked like she stepped out of a fashion magazine! She was my youngest son Greg's
other grandmother!! They were neighbors at The Commons and best of buddies!! Helen was a talented treasure to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. RIP Dear Helen!
