Dear Sumner:

It was with great sadness that Donald and I learned of Helen's passing. What a wonderful, elegant lady. We so enjoyed seeing the two of you at the many events throughout the seacoast over the years and delighted in your "Dead of Winter" parties. We shall certainly miss Helen and of course her incomparable spirit. We hope that you are managing these difficult times with resilience and the help of family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I will dearly miss this lovely lady. Helen was always gracious, kind and genuine.

We are very sad to read of Helen's passing. She was a gracious, beautiful, and talented woman who gave so much to friends and community. Thinking of Sumner and the rest of Helen's family.

I am so sorry to learn of Helen's passing. She was an inspiration to so many.

I am so sad to hear of Helen's passing. It was with great pleasure that I have been able to style her hair for probably 25 years or more. I will truly miss our wonderful conversations about the land trusts and her acting days! I always looked forward to our visits. She was an amazing woman. Beautiful inside and out!
Love you Helen, Diana

Fond memories of a beautiful and most gracious lady during our time together on the Exeter Planning Board.
Visits to their lovely Rt 88 home are still warm memories all these years later.
Maines gain was truly Exeters loss.
A long life very well spent. Her legacy will benefit generations unborn.

Sincerest condolences to Sumner and the boys.
