Read MoreWe were so lucky to become neighbors of Helen and Ken three years ago. Helen made baby quilt, school backpack tag and countless cookies for our 7-year old and showed so much love to us! She kept herself busy with quilting, and I was surprised she donated all the quilts! What a loving beautiful soul! We miss her so much! Wish her rest in peace in heaven!

In the summer of '65,'66 or '67, can't recall exact year, the David T. Yanamura family went on a vacation trip to the other islands and to Disneyland, Auntie Helen, sewed beautiful, dark blue, green, white hibiscus print dresses, mumus and aloha shirts for the WHOLE family. They were so beautifully made! I will always remember that. Thank you so much Auntie, for your loving, hard work and caring!
