Helena Ramsay died February 14, 2018 in the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Parkland, Florida. She was 17.
The Miami Herald quoted a family member on Facebook: "Though she was somewhat reserved, she had a relentless motivation towards her academic studies, and her soft warm demeanor brought the best out in all who knew her."
The Sun-Sentinel quoted her cousin, Jamie Page, on Facebook, who described Helena as "a genuine, beautiful, and smart human being."
Legacy mourns all those who died at Stoneman Douglas.

I don't know who she was but listening to wat her friend(Sam)said about wat she suggested they do with the books made me sad. It made me imagine how smart she must have been.May your soul rest peacefully.

You were so beautiful as you peacefully lay sleeping, I just pray that God took you with him swiftly as the others as well peacefully. I'm still praying for all of your loved ones, although they will not completely heal from such a devastating loss, may each day bring them some type of comfort knowing that you are their guardian angel...no more pain sweetie...rest easy
