Send FlowersHelene Mary (Bannon) Olson, 78, a lifelong resident of Springfield, Massachusetts, a receptionist at the Colony Club of Springfield from 1954 to 1964, died at her home on Friday, October 6, 2000. Calling hours are scheduled for Tuesday, October 10, 2000, 4-7 p.m., at Byron Funeral Home, 1858 Allen Street, Springfield. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, October 11, 9 a.m., from the funeral home to Holy Cross Church, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Salvation Army, 170 Pearl Street, Springfield, MA 01105.
