HELENE RAAB

Helene and I met while we were both employed at the American Jewish Committee. We quickly became friends and discussed our wishes to travel -- Helene to France (she was fluent in French) and I to Israel. These wishes eventually came to fruition and we visited England, other parts of the British Isles and a number of European countries. After Helene spent some time with me in Israel, she returned to France where she remained for a while.
After each of us returned to NYC, our friendship...
