Helene Hughes Shay

My deepest sympathies to the Shay and Hughes families. I worked with Helene at Council 4 and her brother Tim at DOC. Helene was smart, witty and and fierce advocate for worker´s and woman´s rights. She will be greatly missed! RIP.

Goodbye to a wonderful friend and mentor. I will always smile when I think of Helene. So many good memories.

It is with a saddened heart to hear of my parents' dear friend Helene's passing. Buddy passed in 2020 during Covid and we were fortunate to see all the family at Buddy's service. The Bouffard family, Suzanne, Linda, David, and families send our deepest condolences to Susan, Bobby, Karen, Russell, and their families. She was an incredible lady in every definition of the word. It was an honor to know her, Buddy and their family.

I love you Mrs Shay. You are an amazing and empowering woman who enriched all who came in contact with you. You always welcomed me with the most loveliest smile and hug. Your loving presence will be sorely missed. You are forever in my heart.

We loved Helene when she would walk into salon always headed to candy. She preformed our wedding in Fla and her and Bob took dance floor by storm will be greatly missed. So many great memories
