Not sure what to say?

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. My wonderful memories of my time at Emerson come pouring back with many smiles and Mrs. Yorozu continues to warm my heart and inspire my mind. Thank you for sharing her with us. She was one in a million.

Dear Art, I am saddened to learn of Helene's passing. She was a grand, accomplished lady who left a lasting legacy with children that will go on forever.
I remember Frank's joy at having Miss Tsutsumoto as his 5th grade teacher. She was his mentor; she believed in him; she inspired him. If a child has one person like Helene in their corner, it can last them a lifetime. He said he's never met another like her, before or since.
Frank was thrilled when his class was...

I just have to say that over all of these years I will always remember Helene's beautiful smile at Emerson..I never had her as a teacher but my brother was the lucky one, but I made sure she got to know me and of course she knew my Mother. She was so sweet and such a wonderful person..I will never forget her. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of her family. You all have been blessed with a wonderful woman. Thank you!

Dear Art,
It was with great sadness that I heard of Helene´s passing. As you know we,(Val, Frank, Shelley, Deena, Jan, Andy, etc) were in Helene´s first 5th grade class at Maple School. What an honor! She really had great beauty and grace. We were all entranced. And her teaching skills were the best. We even got to meet you as you drove up on the playfield to pick her up at school many times. And going to your wedding really meant a lot to us just as celebrating your 50th wedding...

Mrs Yorozu was one of my teachers at Emerson. She provided me with a education and memories that I wish children could get today. She was a gift to us. Kathy Hitsman

Art and Family

I was so very sad to hear of Helene's passing. She was a wonderful teacher to all who were lucky enough to have her as our teacher. We were the luckiest because we had her as our teacher her very first year after graduation. She taught us so many great things and the memories we have are so wonderful. We thought we were the luckiest kids as we were all invited to attend your wedding. What a special moment to share with all of us. Over the years we have been...

Dear Art, my sincere condolences on the loss of your wonderful and classy wife. I can't tell you how much comfort she provided to our family when mom died. She was a wonderful role model who offered kindness, consideration, generousity and laughter at just the right times! My heart goes out to you and family. Please take care. Love, Cindy Yutani

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Ms. Yoruzu was my 5th grade teacher (1967), and one of my favorites over the years. She was a wonderful lady.

So sorry to hear the news of her passing. I was fortunate enough to be in her class in Maple School. She was always so special to us. Our entire class was invited to her wedding and we were all so excited. All through the years, there has never been a teacher that even came close to Tsutsumoto to us, then Mrs. Yorozu. Thank you Art for being part of our lives as well. She will be missed by all she touched.
