I had Mrs. Rist for three years of German at LDHS. I liked very much as a teacher, but I also liked the feistiness she had. She seemed to have no fear about being her true self and living her life to the fullest. I will always remember the day I could not be excused to the girls´ room until I could say "Kahn ich bitte auf die Toilette gehen?" Lol. Fly high, angel

I was in the choir with Helga at Trinity, a fellow alto. She loved decorating the tables for the Easter Breakfast that the choir had between services! Now you can sing in the heavenly choir!

She was my German teacher. I would be station in Germany (1986-88), along the East and West Germany border.
