Shes the reason I passed the 8th grade..She always asked my grades and if I had bad ones she would remind me of the 8th grade trip and all the dances..I know Rio Dell School will never be the same with out her..She always told me to shut up when I was being loud at lunch..Recently I seen her and she said Rio Dell isnt the same without me and its quiet but really its not the same with out her..I used to call her Grandma and she say dont let your grandma hear that..But each and...

Helga you will be so very much missed to us all and especially the students at Rio Dell School! I know you and Mr.Dimmick are the ones who kept me going 8th grade year.I had so much going on and you were always there to tell me never to give up!You are the reason I am where I am today. I am graduating high school early and I start college up again in May. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Helga. She was a such a presence at the school for so long. I remember her giving Jason a sucker every time she saw him when he was just a little guy (before he started school there). She always took time to speak, give hugs, and wish us well before hurrying to her next task. She was always making sure everybody else had a fuss made over them: baby showers, birthday cakes, teacher appreciation, etc. However, she never liked having a fuss...

Helga was an absolute joy to work with.I wish there was someone like her at every job. She was always very thoughtful and willing to help people.Helga was well-loved by her coworkers and the children of Rio Dell. You will be greatly missed.

My heart goes out to Helga's family. Helga is in a lot of my memories from when I went to Rio Dell Elementary. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

My deepest sympthony for Helgas family. She was a very special person who was inspirational to my son Nathan during his time at rio dell elementary school. When he was having a bad day Helga was always there to help him thru it she noticed when someone needed a loving friend and truely cared about everyone. She will be greatly missed...
