We are sorry to hear of Helmut's passing. For the past 30 years we were his neighbor in the woods to the north. We always appreciated his wonderful maintenance of the right of way and the fact that he could keep an eye on our place when we were not there. His friend Paul from up the road once told me: "Helmut likes what you are doing over there", after we had spent a lot of time cleaning up downed trees. I was very sorry to hear of Helmut's passing. We were classmates at Holy Redeemer and later at Aquinas. He was a good friend. I feel badly that we lost touch and were never able to locate him again...

I was really sad to learn of Helmut's passing. I remember him fondly. He was a grammar school classmate at Holy Redeemer in Rochester. He was a sweet person, even then.

Truly sorry to read of Helmut's passing. I graduated Aquinas with Helmut in 63' and played on the football team with him. All my memories of him are good. He was a tough football player and a good friend.
