Not sure what to say?

My thoughts and prayers go to Helen. JAK

To the family, so sad to hear of my Doctors passing. He performed my bypass in Sept. 2004, I fell in love with him. Such a wonderful man, very kind and funny. Back then when I had my surgery it took about eight hours and it was the big onethe y in loop they called it. I kept in touch with him when he retired. I remember the PLain Dealer did a story on him and his beautiful home and garden. I see he passed in July. I lost my precious brother in Apr of this year and it knocked me for a loop....

Condolences to your family. We will miss Hal at InMotion.

I truly enjoyed working with Dr. Schreiber and his staff at St. Luke's. A gentleman and innovator and wonderful surgeon. As Director of Pharmacy I found him a pleasure to work with.

RIP Dr. Schreiber. You helped many of us at St. Vincent with your surgery. Condolances and prayers to Dr. Schreiber's family. Please find some comfort in knowing that he helped so many of us lead normal lives. He is our hero.

Dear Schreiber Family,

My condolences on the loss of Dr. Schreiber. I was one of the young surgeons who had the privilege of training under Dr. Schreiber at St. Luke's Hospital. His influence was great, and his legacy lives on in myself and the countless other surgeons he helped train. God bless.

Suzanne and Rick Cooper recall many conversations about fly fishing adventures and loved that Hal applied his surgery skills to the talent of tying the perfect knot to catch the ever elusive trout. We will think of him the next time we are on the stream. Our sincerest condolences to the entire family.

The Tavill family send their deepest sympathies on the passing of Hal to the extended Schreiber family. Hal will be remembered fondly as a true gentleman, skillful surgeon, loving husband and father, and kind friend. Wishing you all peace and comfort going forward.

Dear Schreiber Family:

We had the pleasure of working with Dr. Schreiber at Huron Road Hospital, when he became the Chairman of the Department of Surgery. In addition to being an excellent clinician, he was an outstanding physician administrator. He was kind and respectful to everyone with whom he worked. Our deepest sympathies on his passing.
