Not sure what to say?

Sincere condolences from Roberto Orlandini and Marisa Orlandini. We met Helmut in Italy in the mid-1950s, when he was just a boy, and he gave us the impression that he was a serious, intelligent and sensitive guy, a beautiful person who deserved to have the best in life. We kept in touch with him for a few years, then we haven't heard from him since the mid-1960s. Today we have learned of his passing. I am so surprised and saddened to learn of Helmut's passing. He shall remain one of my favorite people of all time. I had both the honor and pleasure of working for Helmut at Portland Pattern for many years. I have so many fond memories from those years. My wife Ruth also remembers when she would would do her morning walk around the Rock Creek area that she would run into both Gerta and Helmut and chat way to long. Definitely Helmut will be missed by many. God bless Gerta and family

After his retirement, he would still come around but not as often. The last few times I saw him, I told him that he looked younger and his skin was nice and tan. He told me he was playing a lot of golf and having fun. He was...
